Why I’ll Be Wearing Lace For Spring And Summer

As you know I’m a sucker for all kinds of classic feminine styles which can be expressed through my wardrobe. So I guess it’s no brainer that I’m embracing more lace for my everyday look. This trend has been around now for years and after attending LFW, it is definitely here to stay. And wearing lace for spring and summer ties in so wonderfully with warmer weather. It’s really fun to rework open fabrics for an updated look to this timeless style. This year, the variety of lace inspires more diverse outfits, both for romantic styles as well as the seductive vamp ladies. And I have to say, I love the contradiction of wearing a feminine lace dress with a rocker biker jacket. One thing is clear, wearing lace for spring and summer is a wardrobe essential element for 2017.

When I talk about lace, don’t just think about dresses, an instant update is easily applied by wearing something like a lace top. This Floral Cut Out Lace Top which I recently purchased from ASOS transforms the coolest lace trends straight from the catwalk into a wardrobe staple. With its sheer lace sleeves and lined lace body, the versatility for styling this top from day to night looks are endless. And did I mention that it’s only £15.99!! Clearly you’re going to get your moneys worth, win win.

You will see me reworking this stunning top into many of my up-and-coming style posts as it has quickly become my favourite look! What do you think? As you can see it works perfectly with a pair of jeans, but I’m also looking forward to styling this with a pencil skirt, culottes and a pair of shorts this summer.
