Occasionally I get a call to work in Paris thanks to QVC France. As this only happens a handful of times a year, I promised myself to maximise every moment in the most romantic city in the world. So this time, I compiled four of my favourite spring looks from my most featured (and favourite) LifenStyle brands. Paris is always a good idea, so as soon as I had the Eurostar and accommodation booked, a photographer was next on the list of things to do. Luckily I’ve already been following a few Parisian photographers on Instagram, so I knew who to contact once everything was confirmed. My number one choice, Federico, otherwise known as iheartparis.fr is a beautiful photographer. His tones are identical to my style and he knows all the best places to shoot in Paris. After a few emails back and forth, we agreed to shoot at the iconic Trocadero followed by Bir Hakeim. If you are into films, you will recognise the Bir Hakeim bridge from Christopher Nolan’s Inception. This is the go-to place for good Eiffel Tower views during the day. And as you can see this is the perfect spot for photos. It is also a short walk away from the Trocadero (more photo’s to follow soon)!
Paris Is Always A Good Idea
For my first look I wanted to add drama and sophistication to my style in reflection to the surroundings. Thanks to the fashion pr babes at Marks and Spencer, I received an email updating me with the latest features to their spring/summer fashion. And it was this statement sleeve top which caught my eye – talk about perfect timing. What do you think? The sleeve is the SS17 way to make a sartorial statement. And doesn’t this bardot style tiered sleeve top do just that. Team with your favourite jeans and heels (as above), or for a chic take on smart casual layer with a printed skirt for a confident stride into the evening.
