As I’m writing this post – I’m looking out of the window, and guess what the weather is doing. Go on, three guesses! That’s right, its raining. As much as I love to post pictures of those sunny days here in the UK, unfortunately after a beautiful day, next comes those grey skies followed by a downpour. And with these unpredictable weather conditions it can be really hard to know what to wear. I don’t know about you, but I have a wardrobe full of beautiful summer clothes waiting for their spotlight. It may be raining outside but surprisingly still warm, yet not dry enough to get those legs out – Talk about major style confusion! So cue my favourite piece of clothing right now…. The perfect Mac. Why perfect? Firstly the colour, blush (tick). Secondly the lightweight appeal (tick). The style (tick) And the amount of compliments wearing the perfect mac (quadruple tick), need I go on?

The Perfect Mac

Ok so it’s not the first time that you’ve seen this Pam Drapey Mac Coat from Phase Eight. It made its first debut during my Paris style diary (you can read the post here). So you can see the huge wear potential that this one mac has. The┬áversatility makes this coat an ideal addition to your outerwear wardrobe. The contemporary structure works with everything from dresses to jeans. Fastening with an asymmetric zip and a shape defining waist tie, it features details including buttoned sleeves (which you can roll up and secure) and a gathered back for extra definition. Personally, I like to wear this Pam Drapey Mac Coat open as I love the waterfall effect that it has when it drapes down. What do you think? Does it have the honour in your eyes to be The Perfect Mac Coat for Spring?
