Just recently I was recommended by a family friend to visit Pebble Beach, a hidden gem located at Barton-on-Sea in Hampshire. This was perfect timing as my parents were looking for somewhere to celebrate their wedding anniversary. I’d never been to Barton-on-Sea and was surprised how close the location was to Poole. With only a short train journey to New Milton and a five minute taxi ride, we had arrived.
When you walk into Pebble Beach you open the doors to a new type of dining experience. Situated on the cliff top you first notice the stunning sea views. Which, during the summer, can be enjoyed from the amazing terrace for al fresco dining.
Mike Caddy, the proprietor of Pebble Beach, has brought his years of experience from top notch restaurants both in the UK and California, to create a place where fabulous food and attentive service is the priority. Mike has fulfilled his dream of running a restaurant that offers something for everyone, using the very best locally sourced ingredients. Whether you eat in the vibrant restaurant, relax in the bar or have an aperitif at the oyster counter, you will be well looked after.
Pebble Beach produces a fantastic seasonal menu which offers a range of dishes that caters for all tastes. From light lunches to formal dinners you will be spoilt for choice. A lover of lobster, that was clearly my choice and boy was it cooked to perfection!
