A new year is always a good time to make a new start. Going the gym, juicing, choosing healthier options of food, drinking more water and taking care of our body not only from the inside but outside too can make a huge impact on the way we feel. With this in mind my focus for 2016 is fitness and wellbeing, so you can imagine my excitement with news that eforea Spa & Health Club opening at the new Hilton Bournemouth.
Stating ‘a new kind of fitness and wellbeing experience, at a brand new kind of spa and health club. A club that recognises your lifestyle needs, and embraces them totally. The result: true balance and total energy, for a brighter, fitter you.‘ I had to experience this and was lucky to have received an invite from the eforea Spa & Health Club to do just that.
Arriving with plenty of time for the first signature treatment – Bournemouth Bliss, I was taken to a relaxation lounge to fill in a quick survey in order to achieve maximum results. Francesca, my therapist for the treatments explained exactly what to expect from my day at eforea spa and if I had any questions. She then took me through to a luxury treatment room where I prepared myself for the two hours of total peace and tranquillity.
My first treatment, Bournemouth Bliss, which I couldn’t recommend enough is a 90 minute treatment inspired by the seaside location. Muscle warming and detoxing seaweed is applied to both the legs and back after a refreshing body brush, followed with a deep tissue back massage and facial which incorporates iconic Padina Pavonica seaweed, I was taken into a light sleep – heaven. Finishing with a Foot Journey Enhancement, a 30 minute treatments which my feet enjoyed an amazing pressure point foot massage. These two treatments are the perfect combination for a full body detox and massage that leaves you in a deep state of relaxation for the rest of the day. Should you get the chance to enjoy these or any other treatments which are available at eforea Spa & Health Club, I would then suggest making the most of the pool, sauna and steam-room which is also available for the ultimate indulgence.
Finishing with an Elemis product guide for the treatments I received and a suggested skincare programme definitely left me wanting the Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal, Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules and Papaya Enzyme Peel – all of which left my skin feeling fabulous. Clearly there’s a blog post to follow.
I’m already booking another visit for my Birthday in February. The Winter Spa Package – a targeted exfoliation, warm stone massage and comforting moisturisation, with a sumptuous afternoon tea to finish… all for only £70 per person is an amazing deal. More information can be found on the eforea Spa & Health Club website. What’s not to love? Hey, we deserve it!
