And what a whirlwind of a week it’s been! After spending five days co-presenting the Boots Electrical Conference, I was blessed with Norovirus on my return. Which meant I missed the beginning of LFW, but on a positive, I did get to experience the last couple of days half a stone lighter (I’ve been seriously trying to shift 6lb’s since last December!!). It was great to spend three days in London watching shows (you must take a look at the Sharon Wauchob SS18 Catwalk Show, look 13, 14, 22, 25 & 32 – talk about outfit goals) and seeing friends. I had the pleasure of staying at the Sanderson Hotel (blog post to follow soon – obviously), so the experience was exceptional. And thanks to a number of photographer friends I’ve managed to document each look – and here’s the first, wardrobe essentials for the seasons ahead.
Wardrobe essentials for the seasons ahead
First up is this fabulous Nancy Faux Fur Collar Coat from Topshop. As we are now officially in Autumn, I’ve made a conscious effort updating my wardrobe essentials for the seasons ahead. And clearly a good coat is first on the list! In a chic nude hue, this tailored double breasted coat features a detachable faux fur collar and military buttons. It adds a sartorial touch to your daytime style which I’m obsessed with at the moment. What do you think? I decided to remove the faux fur detail and pop the collar to show of the contrasting interior. As you can see even with jeans and a camisole you can still look put together. Other essentials include ankle boots, a good pair of denims and my current favourite; a winter hat (Get ready to see a wide variety of hats appear this season – I’m obsessed!).
